Our Vision
It is our mission to provide quality education and care for our children.
We offer a learning programme where children are encouraged to be independent thinkers who become competent and confident life learners. Through valued play the children can question and explore the wider world around them.
We believe children have innate potential and we love to help them thrive.
Our program encourages children to explore and develop at their own pace through planned and spontaneous experiences supporting them to master the fundamental skills needed for a smooth transition to primary school. We embrace Te Whaariki, The NZ Early Childhood Curriculum.
Our Programme
The child’s needs will always be the primary consideration of all that we do.
We will provide a warm and comfortable environment for our children because we believe that children learn and develop when they are happy and secure.
Our curriculum will be Child centred and will build on learning that takes place in the family, community and the wider world.
Our programme will be fun, stimulating and challenging providing individual learners with opportunities to explore and discover. Our programme will enable children to become confident, competent learners and communicators, critical thinkers and problem solvers, setting strong foundations for life.
It is the kaupapa of our Centre to include tikanga and te reo Maori in the curriculum.
We acknowledge Te Whariki, the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, as the framework for everything we do as educators. It guides and inspires our work with children and adults.
